What is the Political Courage Test?

Wisconsin Congressional Election 2012 Political Courage Test

Unknown Position Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
I support the belief that abortion is a moral law issue vice that of a legislative issue. The people individually must enforce this in a civil manor. This begins with education of young people concerning the topics of pregnancy as well as continuing to provide avenues for people to go in order to receive assistance.
Yes Do you support United States' combat operations in Afghanistan?
Yes Do you support a timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan?
I openly respect all final decisions of our nation's government, though my personal beliefs may differ from that of our nation from time to time my allegiance remains.

Indicate which proposals you support (if any) for balancing the federal budget. In order to balance the budget,

Yes do you support reducing defense spending?
No do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No do you support reducing Medicaid spending?
No do you support reducing Medicare spending?
Yes Is balancing the budget a legislative priority?
The systematic restructuring of our tax system is of the highest priority. Identifying alternatives to income tax is a necessary evil which must be faced head on.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Corporations are entities "like" people, yet they are not people. The decisions of the nation must be enforced by the people of the nation. No Exceptions!!!
No Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
The taking of a life is not a true means to an end.
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
No Do you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
Yes Do you support the temporary extension of unemployment benefits?
No Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief?
It is not the position of the nation's government to stimulate growth in the economy. We have a capitalistic system for a purpose. Our nation is under attack and the enemy is within our legislative system. Division of power and the lack of willingness to work together is driving a wedge into the foundation of our nations values.
No Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
I support the implementation of a state discretion educational system which provides for equal opportunities for all students.
No Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
Yes Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
No Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
I believe strongly in the Bill of Rights, with emphasis on the 2nd, 9th and 10th amendments
No Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
No Should individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
Responsibility is an important aspect of citizenship. We as Americans understand the importance of taking responsibility for our actions and inactions. Secondly, requiring health insurance is nothing like requiring automobile insurance; as auto insurance protects the well-being of all people who utilize the roadways. Health insurance is restricted to the well-being of the person utilizing it. There is no direct correlation.
Yes Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Yes Do you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?
No Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police?
The honor of becoming a U.S. citizen is one which should be open to any individual willing to "Pledge their solemn allegiance" to the United States of America. Anyone who goes back on such a pledge must be held accountable at the highest form of punishment our nation allows.
Unknown Position Do you support same-sex marriage?
I believe this is a moral law issue vice a legislative issue. Marriage in general should not be regulated by the state or the nation. Marriage is a Moralistic bond between two people and the God they serve.
No Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
No Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon?
The use of force will only further escalate Iran's belief for the need to become a nuclear power. This is an act for diplomacy. Take heed "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting" The Art of War
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
